The town is named after Chief Sapulpa, a Lower Creek Indian from Alabama. Billed as the "Heart of Historic Route 66," Sapulpa is home to Discoveryland and Frankoma Pottery. Hickory Crossing is located just south of downtown Sapulpa. RSVP offers free transportation to Walmart each Monday, and Cimmaron Public Transit can provide transportation to and from appointments.
